Pine, the motif of long life, fills the round and snow-ring (yukiwa) medallions scattered across a deep blue ground, joined by chrysanthemum, paulownia and bamboo and traced in gold. A slim, straight skirt with a front slit; the lining shows as you walk. Unisex.
