Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.
This is called a MICHIYUKI.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

This fabric is called shibori.
Kimonos are dyed and embroidered using a variety of techniques, one of which is the “tie-dyeing” technique.
This is a technique in which fabrics are dyed by binding them with threads or sandwiched with a device to prevent dyeing, and then dyed with dyestuffs to create complex patterns.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

(The shibori was wider and ironed more than other shibori kimonos I have. Probably because the previous owner ironed it herself. Although the shibori was spread out, but I felt the love of the owner. The item is in very good condition.)
