Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.

This HAORI is called “KUROMONTSUKI HAORI 黒紋付羽織” in Japan.

Kiyomizu-dera appears on the left, while the temple on the right is believed to depict Kinkaku-ji before its major Showa-era restoration.
Below them, the scene of the Kyoto Gozan Okuribi fires unfolds.
A poetic tribute to Kyoto, beautifully expressed through intricate weaving on lustrous silk.

It used to be worn as the first formal jacket for Japanese men.

My proposal is to wear haori as a unisex casual fashion, different from the original way of wearing kimono.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

*Dated old, antique piece

[Condition]  There is a small spot stain on the inner lining. It may have been there originally. Please refer to the photos for details.

“KAMON 家紋”
About the mark on this HAORI

This mark is called KAMON and is the emblem representing the family.
In the old days, only a few people of high status were allowed to have KAMON, but during the Meiji era (1868–1912), ordinary people were also permitted to use them.

This haori family crest is called 「丸に三階菱(まるにさんがいびし / Maruni-sangaibishi)」.
Maruni-sangaibishi is a traditional family crest featuring layered diamond-shaped water chestnut motifs enclosed within a circle. The hishi motif has long been associated with prosperity, protection, and the continuity of family lineage in Japanese heraldic design.
