Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.

This is called a HAORI.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

There are two types of Japanese kimonos traditionally worn in the summer: "ro" and "sha." Both are made of silk. (Some recent ones have synthetic fibers. ) Kimono fabrics of "ro" and "sha" are sheer and beautiful.

This fabric is "ro."
It features a beautiful transparent material.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

Handsewn by Japanese craftsmen

“KAMON 家紋 ”About the mark on this HAORI.
This mark is called KAMON and is the emblem representing the family.
In the old days, only a few people of high status were allowed to have KAMON, but in the Meiji era (1868-1912), ordinary people were allowed to have KAMON. This family crest is based on ivy and is called "蔦 tsuta"
