Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.

This HAORI is called “KUROMONTSUKI HAORI 黒紋付羽織” in Japan.

It used to be worn as the first formal jacket for Japanese men.

My proposal is to wear haori as a unisex casual fashion, different from the original way of wearing kimono.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

*Modern

[Condition] There is a small black spot in one area on the haura (inner lining). It may have been there originally.

Please see the last pic.

“KAMON 家紋 ”About the mark on this HAORI
This mark is called KAMON and is the emblem representing the family.
In the old days, only a few people of high status were allowed to have KAMON, but in the Meiji era (1868-1912), ordinary people were allowed to have KAMON.
The “丸に剣木瓜 Maru ni Ken Mokkō” (Sword Mokko in a Circle) is a traditional Japanese family crest. It features a stylized mokko (wooden quince flower) design with pointed, sword-like edges, enclosed within a circle. The mokko motif is one of the oldest and most widely used crests in Japan, and the addition of sword-like elements symbolizes strength and protection.
