Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.

This HAORI is called “KUROMONTSUKI HAORI 黒紋付羽織” in Japan.

It used to be worn as the first formal jacket for Japanese men.

My proposal is to wear haori as a unisex casual fashion, different from the original way of wearing kimono.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

*Dated old, antique piece

[Condition] There are spots throughout the haura (inner lining). It is difficult to determine whether they are due to age-related deterioration or were originally present.
There is a pull in the fabric. Please refer to the photos for details.

Please see the last pic.

Handmade by Japanese craftsmen

“KAMON 家紋”
About the mark on this HAORI

This mark is called KAMON and is the emblem representing the family.
In the old days, only a few people of high status were allowed to have KAMON, but during the Meiji era (1868–1912), ordinary people were also permitted to use them.

This haori family crest is called 「丸に三つ引き(まるにみつびき / Maruni-mitsubiki)」.
Maruni-mitsubiki is a traditional family crest featuring three horizontal lines enclosed within a circle. Simple yet highly refined, the design reflects balance, order, and continuity, embodying the understated elegance often found in Japanese heraldic motifs.
