Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.

This HAORI is called “KUROMONTSUKI HAORI 黒紋付羽織” in Japan.

It used to be worn as the first formal jacket for Japanese men.

My proposal is to wear haori as a unisex casual fashion, different from the original way of wearing kimono.

The name of the fabric is 羽二重 Habutae.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

“KAMON 家紋 ”About the mark on this HAORI
This mark is called KAMON and is the emblem representing the family.
In the old days, only a few people of high status were allowed to have KAMON, but in the Meiji era (1868-1912), ordinary people were allowed to have KAMON. This haori family crest is called 「丸に梅鉢  maru-ni-umebachi」The plum tree has long been cherished by the Japanese people for its elegant form and fragrant white blossoms that bloom beautifully in early spring.
