Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.

This HAORI is called “KUROMONTSUKI HAORI 黒紋付羽織” in Japan.

It used to be worn as the first formal jacket for Japanese men.

My proposal is to wear haori as a unisex casual fashion, different from the original way of wearing kimono.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

*Modern

*The part of the mark: shows signs of age. Please see the last pic.

“KAMON 家紋 ”About the mark on this HAORI
This mark is called KAMON and is the emblem representing the family.
In the old days, only a few people of high status were allowed to have KAMON, but in the Meiji era (1868-1912), ordinary people were allowed to have KAMON. This haori family crest is called 「五瓜に違い鷹の羽 goka-ni-chigaitakanoha」 The falcon's feather crest is one of the five major crests that are used by a great number of families.
