Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.

This HAORI is called “KUROMONTSUKI HAORI 黒紋付羽織” in Japan.

It used to be worn as the first formal jacket for Japanese men.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

*Dated old, antique piece

*Yellowing of the family crest due to age-related deterioration. Please see the last pic.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

Handmade by Japanese craftsmen

“KAMON 家紋 ”About the mark on this HAORI
This mark is called KAMON and is the emblem representing the family.
In the old days, only a few people of high status were allowed to have KAMON, but in the Meiji era (1868-1912), ordinary people were allowed to have KAMON. This haori family crest is called 「加賀梅鉢 kagaumebachi」 Each petal is represented by an independent circle, depicting a plum blossom.
