Genuine vintage Japanese kimono

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

I carefully handpicked this kimono piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

*Original kimono:Dated old, antique piece

[Condition] Very Good. Excellent condition for an antique piece.

Natural aging of the silk has caused yellowing between the white-dyed areas and the black shibori-dyed sections. Please refer to the photos for details.

With gold thread embroidery: Kinkomashishu 金駒刺繍 is a technique in which thick gold thread, which would not pass through a needle hole, is wound around a wooden piece, rolled along the pattern, and sewn onto the cloth with fine thread.
Kinkomashishu is one of the traditional Japanese embroidery techniques used with yuzen dyeing and other techniques, and is especially known for being applied to furisode (long-sleeved kimono) and high-class kimonos. It has a delicate and unique beauty.
