Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.

This HAORI is called “KUROMONTSUKI HAORI 黒紋付羽織” in Japan.

It used to be worn as the first formal jacket for Japanese men.

My proposal is to wear haori as a unisex casual fashion, different from the original way of wearing kimono.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

*Dated old, antique piece (Due to its age, this piece has some damage. Thank you for your understanding.)

[Condition]  Good. There is some bleeding in the artwork on the haura (inner lining), which is believed to be original.

Handmade by Japanese craftsmen

“KAMON 家紋”
About the mark on this HAORI

This mark is called KAMON and is the emblem representing the family.
In the old days, only a few people of high status were allowed to have KAMON, but during the Meiji era (1868–1912), ordinary people were also permitted to use them.

This haori family crest is called 「丸に三つ引き(まるにみつびき / Maruni-mitsubiki)」.
Maruni-mitsubiki is a traditional Japanese family crest featuring three horizontal lines enclosed within a circle. The clean, geometric design symbolizes balance, stability, and continuity, reflecting the understated elegance and refined simplicity characteristic of Japanese heraldic tradition.
