Genuine vintage Japanese kimono.

This HAORI is called “KUROMONTSUKI HAORI 黒紋付羽織” in Japan.

It used to be worn as the first formal jacket for Japanese men.

My proposal is to wear haori as a unisex casual fashion, different from the original way of wearing kimono.

The name of the fabric is 羽二重 Habutae.

One-of-a-kind-vintage.

Lining design: A castle stands amidst a mountain landscape. Silhouettes of man can be seen inside the castle. A single boat floats on the river. A beautiful piece adorned with elegant gold accents.

I carefully handpicked this piece, which is in very good condition for a vintage garment.

“KAMON 家紋 ”About the mark on this HAORI
This mark is called KAMON and is the emblem representing the family.
In the old days, only a few people of high status were allowed to have KAMON, but in the Meiji era (1868-1912), ordinary people were allowed to have KAMON.
This haori family crest is called 「丸に隅立て四つ目紋(まるにすみたてよつめ) Maru ni Sumidate Yotsume-mon」The “Maru ni Sumidate Yotsume-mon” (Four-Eye Crest with Corners in a Circle) is a traditional Japanese family crest. It features a square shape divided into four smaller squares, with the outer corners emphasized, all enclosed within a circle. This geometric design was used by samurai families and is known for its simple yet distinctive appearance.
